About Our Restaurant
Safari Market Restaurant offers a rotating selection of traditional African and Caribbean dishes, prepared fresh daily using authentic recipes and high-quality ingredients. Our menu celebrates the rich culinary heritage of our diverse communities and brings a true taste of home to Saskatoon.
Daily Menus
Menu Availability: Our restaurant operates with daily menus that showcase different dishes throughout the week. Menus are posted on our website and mobile app by 8:00 AM each morning for that day’s offerings.
Menu Changes: Due to the fresh nature of our ingredients and the variety of our offerings, menu items are subject to availability and may change without notice. We recommend checking our website or calling ahead to confirm availability of specific dishes.
Advance Ordering: While we encourage same-day orders for the freshest experience, you may pre-order meals up to 3 days in advance for certain items. Pre-orders help us plan our preparation and ensure your favorite dishes are available.

Ready Times:
- Standard orders: Ready within 30-45 minutes
- Large orders: May require additional time; we will confirm when placing your order
- Pre-orders: Ready at your specified pickup time
Pickup Procedure:
- You will receive a text or email notification when your order is ready
- Come to the restaurant counter and provide your name or order number
- Orders will be packaged for easy transport
- Please check your order before leaving
Delivery
Delivery Areas: We deliver throughout Saskatoon and surrounding areas within 25km of our store.
Delivery Fees:
- Within Saskatoon: $6.99
- Extended area (15-25km): $12.99
- Free delivery on orders over $75 within Saskatoon
Delivery Times:
- Standard delivery: 45-75 minutes
- Peak hours may extend delivery times
- You can track your delivery in real-time through our app
Contactless Delivery: We offer contactless delivery options. Leave instructions at checkout, and we will place your order at your door and notify you.

Delivery: $25 minimum order value (before delivery fees)
Meal Components and Portions
All meals are prepared in generous portions designed to satisfy. Most dishes include:
- Main protein or featured item
- Traditional sides (rice, plantains, yams, vegetables, etc.)
- Sauces or accompaniments
Portion Customization: We are happy to accommodate requests for extra sides, additional protein, or modifications where possible. Additional charges may apply.
Family Meal Options: Many items are available in family-size portions that serve 4-6 people. These are perfect for gatherings or meal prep for the week.
Dietary Accommodations
Allergen Information: We make every effort to provide accurate information about ingredients and allergens. However, our kitchen handles a wide variety of ingredients, and cross-contamination is possible. If you have severe allergies, please contact us directly before ordering.

We will do our best to accommodate your needs, but some traditional recipes cannot be modified without significantly altering the dish.
Food Safety and Quality
Freshness Guarantee: All meals are prepared fresh daily using the highest quality ingredients. We do not serve day-old food.
Temperature Control: Hot foods are kept hot and cold foods are kept cold throughout preparation and delivery. For deliveries, we use insulated packaging to maintain proper temperatures.
Safe Handling: Our kitchen follows strict food safety protocols in accordance with Saskatchewan Health Authority guidelines. All staff are trained in safe food handling practices.
Consume Promptly: For food safety and optimal taste, we recommend consuming meals within:
- 2 hours if kept at room temperature
- 3-4 days if refrigerated promptly
- 2-3 months if frozen
Reheating Instructions: We provide reheating instructions with all orders. Please follow these guidelines for the best experience and food safety.
Pricing
All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change based on ingredient costs and market conditions, but your price is locked in when you place your order.
Menu Pricing:
- Individual meals: Starting at $12.99
- Family portions: Starting at $45.99
- Side dishes: $4.99 – $8.99
- Beverages: $2.99 – $5.99
Special Orders and Catering
Large Group Orders: For orders serving 10 or more people, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. We can create custom menus for your event.
Catering Services: We offer full catering services for events, parties, and corporate functions. Contact our catering team at catering@safarimarket.ca or call 306-374-0411 for more information and pricing.
Custom Menu Requests: If you have a specific dish in mind that is not on our current menu, please ask. We may be able to accommodate special requests with advance notice.
Cancellations and Modifications
Order Changes: You may modify or cancel your order up to 15 minutes after placing it by calling us immediately at 306-374-0411. Once food preparation has begun, we cannot modify or cancel orders.
Cancellation Refunds:
- Cancelled before preparation begins: Full refund
- Cancelled after preparation begins: No refund
- Failed delivery due to incorrect information: No refund (delivery fee applies)
Quality Guarantee
Not Satisfied? If you are not completely satisfied with your meal, please let us know immediately. We want to make it right.
Reporting Issues: Contact us within 2 hours of receiving your order if you experience:
- Missing items
- Incorrect items
- Quality concerns
- Temperature issues
- Spills or damaged packaging
We will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit at our discretion.
Returns: Due to health regulations, we cannot accept returns of prepared food once it has left our premises. However, we stand behind our quality and will make appropriate accommodations for legitimate concerns.

Bring Your Own Container: For in-store pickup, you are welcome to bring your own reusable containers. Please ensure they are clean and food-safe.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of order for all restaurant purchases. We accept all payment methods outlined in our Payment Policy.
Tipping: Gratuity for delivery drivers is appreciated but not required. You can add a tip at checkout or provide cash to the driver.

COVID-19 Protocols: We continue to follow all health and safety guidelines recommended by public health authorities. Current protocols include:

Customer Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who:
