We saw this need not just as a business opportunity, but as a calling to serve our community. Safari Market opened its doors with a vision to create a space where every African and Caribbean person in Saskatoon could walk in and find a piece of home on our shelves. Where a Ghanaian mother could find proper cassava for fufu, where a Jamaican family could get authentic Scotch bonnet peppers for their jerk marinade, where a Nigerian student could discover Indomie noodles that remind them of late-night meals back home.

Today, Safari Market has grown into a thriving hypermarket that serves not only as a grocery destination but as a cultural hub where traditions are preserved, stories are shared, and community bonds are strengthened.
